Moonfish. Songs Of Love And Water (2024)

On our fourth album, we take the listeners to the gentle, soothing, and peaceful side of the ocean. The magnificent title track follows the beautiful Moonfish on a day’s journey from the sunlit surface to the deep waters and back again, starting by daybreak until the soft whale song lays him to sleep. The main track is framed by two tracks that act like siblings, drawing their inspiration from literature and flowing like crystal-clear rivers to the sea. Combining elements of Folk, Prog, Minimal, Ambient, and classical music and dealing with the issue of inner peace and self-love, The Weever Sands provide a listening experience full of elegant tunes, delicate and fragile acoustic fabrics, friendly and sometimes dreamy moods, a grain of humour, and high-class virtuosity.

SECRETS OF THE PECKING ORDER (2022)

Our third album tells the hilarious story of Phea the Pheasant and his troublesome week, transformed into a Post-Prog adventure with many influences from the Canterbury Scene. The Weever Sands are joined by fabulous musicians for the seven tracks – one track for each day -to present a listening experience crammed with folky-jazzy harmonies, melodious bas lines, strange audio drama, rapid rock solos, tons of diferent sounds, and lots of humour. Animals rule! Enjoy!

7. Sunday: Phea cleans his beak, rethinks his life, flies home, and unsubscribes from Birdwatch Quarterly

STYLOBAT’S TRAVELS (2020)

Our second album, merging Prog with Post-Rock into a classical 70s format of an epic long-track and three shorter ones. With stunt guitar ace Armin Rave and ex-Guano Apes producer Geo Schaller on flute as guests, we tell the slightly bizarre story of a stylish bat in search for his sweetheart in ancient Greece. Flying keyboards, ghostly choirs and audio drama wonderment included.

KEEP YOUR FACE TURNED TO THE LIGHT (2016)

Our debut from 2016, trying to merge Post-Rock minimalism with Prog opulence into transparent musical miniatures. Often slim and slow- moving, sometimes glowing with speed and energy, always with tons of sounds and colours. Disembodied voices & strange noises come asa bonus.
